3D Creature - Torment

3D creature I’ve been working on. Eventually he’ll be covered in armor but I wanted to properly build in the underlying body and figure out the anatomy. Base mesh was created in Max.

The anatomy is looking great. Very cool image

Man!! That looks like the pissed off spawn of Killer Croc and Malebogia! Really nice work you have there! The detail and anatomy are top notch, can’t wait to see the rest!

i am really diggin this style. the only part that seems incomplete is his butt, just put some detail in there, i swear we won’t judge, :stuck_out_tongue:

can’t wait to see what else you can do with him some textures and a posing would make it amazing.

really nice. what is that matcap material on there? did you make it or find it somewhere?

Thanks for the comments!

PJC_Slimo: The butt huh…needs some work? Yeah I agree. It’s looking a little flat.

sulz: the matcap I got off of some forum… I think it was from here. I did do some tweaking to it though. I find that I could spend hours just tweaking the matcaps.

Whoa…I’m blown away. The anatomy is looking amazing!! No need for crits.

Would like to see the base mesh if possible.

Great job on the anatomy. I like the proportions. Cant wait to see it covered in armor

Cool website too! You have an amazing body of work.

4 stars from me.

very nice, because of the head and body and the way the spine ends, it looks like a nasty tail is in order also he need something to counter balance that big melon of his  very nice thoug (very evil)

muy buen trabajo

The only criticism I would have for you is that it seems a bit too symmetrical, but I don’t know if you plan on breaking that up with the armor. Otherwise, it’s coming along nicely

i only dream of doing work like this, very nice, love the detail, i want that sucker in a game

wow lots of detail. god stuff:+1: :+1:

Yeah I would agree with m29matt, break up the symetrical wrinkles, bumps, veins, and etc. That will definitely give it a bit more realism look to it.
