3D Concept Pipeline

Dose anyone know how a 3D concept pipeline should be layed out as?
Like if you would start off with a base mesh from Maya, or use ZSpheres from ZBrush in the earley stages of developing game character concepts by using only 3D instead of 2D.

Please feel free to respond with your own thoughts and suggestions about this subject.

Zbrush> 3-d coat> Zbrush > 3-coat > Zbrush > Maya 2011 > Photoshop > Maya > game engine

Would it be possible if you can describe this 3D concepting process in detail? Just so I can take note about this.

Create base mesh in Zbrush

Retopo even topology in 3-D coat

Sculpt hi res detail in Zbrush

Retopo game-mesh in 3-D coat

Project high res detail to game-mesh in Zbrush

Polypaint color, textures, etc in Zbrush

Export normal, color maps from Zbrush

Edit, sharpen, etc maps in photoshop

Import meshes, maps into Maya, etc

Done…

just about to get myself this 3d coat , i am using blender as my box model aplication , you recon the pipeline described by you will work with blender as well ?
