I hope someone can help me out here…

Hi all, I have been looking everywhere for a software which allows you to import a 3D model, rig it and animate it. I am aware that Maya and 3D Max have this built in but they, for some unknow reason do not cooperate with my comp.

Would anyone be aware of any software available as such???

Please help me out here. :frowning:

yes…xsi is a great animation software, but I wonder how come 3dsmax doesn’t work on your computer, hmmm if you don’t have the resources to run 3dsmax then xsi won’t work either

What exactly do you mean they don’t cooperate with your computer? If you are new to this … you don’t just sit down and rig a character in a few hours or even days, No matter which software you are using. You might want to look into Poser.

maya , 3ds max, xsi , cinema 4d are the main programs for animation

if maya or 3ds max is not working on your computer, then you problery have a really big problem with your computer. i am not sure that another program will work if this problem persists.

find out your problem and fix it

oh . and the ability to rig and animate a 3d model is a skill that has to be learnt. and that take time. not a cup of tea i am afraid
