Hiya guys, not sure how many use the new M1X Max pro, but I just got mine setup and was pumped to get working and unfortunately the performance is really choppy with a 32 GB M1X Pro
Now with that said I’ve been plenty pleased with my M1 Mac mini 16GB performance running 2021.7.1 with the same project at a nice clip, so question is what changed?
I’m now re-installing 2021.7.1 on My M1X to see if that changes anything.

Ok so in 2022.0.1 I changed the Max threads back to 7 from the “optimal” 9 under performance, this was the setting for my M1 Mac Mini and it looks like it’s performing as expected now. I’ll test it throughout the day.
Is there a way to save this so I don’t have to keep doing it each time I reopen Zbrush? @aurick
