2 -6 minute zombie CGI movies shorts

gone bad part I

Atom Films Zombie movies cgi Gone Bad part 2

there are two movie links I just watched…very very way kewl if you are into George Romero type stuff…the two are called Gone Bad 1 and 2…check it out …I would love to find out what they used to create this …part 2 has some incredible underwater scenes…you gotta see it to believe it…could we translate Z into doing stuff like this? Now that would be my dream…

ron, you weren’t kidding…these shorts are INCREDIBLE! they spared no expense for detail…especially in part 2, it literally freaked me out as if i was watching a scary movie on t.v.

i, too, would be interested to know what software they used to create them, not that i will ever be at this level, but i’m just a junkie for “behind the scenes” info ;o)

the only problem i had with them is i was so in AWE of the technical detail, i missed some of the storyline…so, i’m off to see them again! ;o)

part 2 :+1: :+1:

part 1 not to bad

yeah they were both pretty kewl EZ…and I am glad you liked em too Mizzthang…if anyone else looks at them I would love to hear your take on them…thnx
ron

weres part 3

I have to admit I enjoyed the second one more, but the gunsight in the first one was a really nice touch.

They were done by Mondo Media which, if I recall correctly, is primarily a 3D Studio Max shop. It’s an assumption, but probably valid.

Incredible talent and skill aside, anything in those films could have been done in almost any 3D package. Max, Lightwave, Cinema 4D, Maya, etc… Biggest differences being the effort involved to produce those results.
