Using only the polysphere provided…I came up with this guy, nothing cool I know. I like sculping in this version cause the feel of working with the material is a whole lot more organic…not that you can actually feel. 
Now how do I move the subtool while keeping the structure intact? I need to jut adjust the teeth…also help with the eyes…is there any vid on showing how to place the eyes(sphere).

about your question i made this little zscrip, press before run Show action to see slowly
