***10,000 posts***

I see that Aurick, the mainstay of ZBC, is about to clock up 10,000 posts… :sunglasses:

Congratulations Matt and thanks for tirelessly answering all those ‘I’ve dropped my model’ posts and so on. :+1:

Man, that’s staggering! For ANY forum member, mod or admin of any forum on thenet, 10.000 posts must be some kind of internet record!? It’s not lke even a single post is spam of any kind either.

That’s commitment for you

Well done Aurick mate if your reading this :+1: :+1: :+1:

I’m pleased marcus_civis was on the ball there

Congrats Matthew :+1: Although I do enjoy the replies to ‘dropped model’ posts  I prefer the gold nuggets of info strewn here and there.

Btw, no need to worry about 10,000 posts breaking the forums. Frenchy was kind enough to test that for us

My god yeah, Frenchy has 12,205 post and counting!

Who has the most posts on here then?

Matthew, can’t say enough about the amount of help you’ve been. I am always amazed that even though you’ve answered the same questions before, I seem to find new insights from your responses.

Let me just say ‘thank you’.

Word.

I was going to start this post

marcus you stole my idea lols  :p;)

Well 10000 or any more , Auricks post defines his patience and commitment to his work

Salute you man :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

…Matthews’ posts are a little more serious and technical helping than mine
Congrats Matt! :+1:
Alas we can’t see anymore crazzy images from you?

Thank you, friends. Interestingly, this will be number 10,000 exactly. Good timing!

Frenchy, I was just going to mention that you had more than I do, but others beat me to it.

It has certainly been an interesting 5 years since I first signed up at ZBC! Nobody at that time even had 1,000 posts yet, and we certainly had nothing close to the 70,000+ members that we enjoy today. In that time, we’ve also seen four more ZBrush versions (all free upgrades!), and even ZBC has gone through a massive face lift.

Fun times!

It has been my genuine pleasure to be able to answer your questions and see so many of you move on to create artwork that I couldn’t even begin to imagine! Looking through the Featured Gallery (something else that didn’t exist when I started) is a truly humbling experience.

–Matthew

(I will admit, though, that in answering all the “I’ve dropped my model” posts, I think I dropped my sanity someplace along the way. Anyone seen it? )

I must add my thanks too Matthew.
I remember when you first got the job. Picked for it by your interest and technical knowledge of ZBrush in the early days. Always the first to answer any Zbrush problem… in fact in those days it seemed like a race between you and the late Kruzr to furnish well rounded answers and solutions to any problem users encountered. In fact you were constantly stretching the boundaries of knowledge in all areas.
Plus you have always been there to facilitate and help via email with any Zbrush licencing problems. I always knew that if Matthew was on the job things were done at speed.
Well done. Many, many thanks to you and your team. May your success keep rolling on.
Cheers.

Now, as with Fenchy… we have to have a Aurick’s 10000 challenge!

Congrats, Matthew!!!

I whole heartedly second ETA’s comments, truly.

Been a great big help to me over the years as well. I really appreciate the support you give.

One thing though, I would love to see a current photo of you versus the one you posted in the member gallery. Something tells me it will be like viewing the presidents pic. Black hair before and snow white afterwards…and seeing some of the questions you have been asked over the years, I imagine you as white haired as myself…lol…(Hair dye is fun though, trust me…treating my ole noodle this weekend.)

Now if we can only get Pix to hit that sweet 10K number, that will be a dream come true.

Continued success on the job and forum.

kudos,
Ron

That is 10000 under the name Aurick.
Have said before but will beat it into the ground.
One of the biggest reasons for the success of the program
is this forum.
Aurick is the forum.
Best of luck, 10000 more under all your other names.

Made with an Alpha 3D of the name “Aurick” + Spectrum2 texture + Adjustments

  • Zplace (Zscript by Cameyo) + Background Texture Reflect N°4 (Frame&Text are not Zb)

So that’s why your jumping out of airplanes now?

Wow, cool!

Having just done some number crunching…eliminating all the “I dropped my model and can’t edit it anymore” replies…Aurick has posted 9000 times more than he had to…good luck with the carpal tunnel Aurick!

Patience is a virtue they say, wish I had a tenth of yours.

Now when’s that book coming out?
