I have 2 leaves/subtools that are just simple planes with a texture image on each one. what I want is just to have 1 leaf/subtool with the different textures applied to opposite sides of the plane, just like a leaf in nature would be. Thank you all for any help you may have.
Hey Earthstarchakra, It’s not possible to have two different textures occupying the same polygon space.
What you could do is merge the two meshes, leaving them just slightly apart, and join both sides with the curve bridge brush.
You’d then have 3 poly groups for UV’s, front, back, and a thin border.
Unless somebody else knows another solution! That’s how I’d approach it anyway.
