1 mesh - 2 different sub-divisions

I somehow have 2 different subdivisions of the same mesh, any one know how to get them the same again?

Thanks

Hi jasoni,
what do you mean by that actually?..do you mean you got 2 subtools with different subD level?..or 1 subtool with 2 different subD level?..
If the first one is the one that you asking, you can just go the the geometry tab and adjust the subD level from there.
If the second one, then I guess its not possible to have 2 subD level on 1 mesh.

Sory if I get your question wrong, but can you explain it more clearly or if possible attach an image.

Maybe he’s hidden part of his mesh, and then subdivided it creating some areas with a higher poly density than others.

I’d also be interested to hear the answer.

sorry if was unclear, its 1 subtool. after a couple of hours of research i found another post with the same problem.

I had hidden part of the mesh and done a local subdivision with the part showing. (hit nail on the head Spittle)

to get the same overall subdivisions again, I used an earlier save w/o all the detail and did ZProject, using the detailed mesh as the source. So in the end, I had equal subdivisions and kept all my progress:D
(hope made sense)

link to the page that describes how to do it, saved all my hours of work!!!

Good to know you found the answer
