Good to know (or remember) that in anyway.

Sure, but does it make your editing any easier??
We’ve got allready tons of rules to follow, adding another one - even a golden one - might just sort of freeze us in our cubs?

Hi Fouad
Remember me this passionating thread and passionate by EtA
Proportion of beauty  or the inverse
Pilou

5 to 8 is a good approximation if you are just judging it by eye

if there is only one rule to follow, it’s this one, really. this ‘perfect proportion’ can be found everywhere in nature and human constructions/painting/art…

Maybe yes, maybe no !
Follow the thread above that I give
Pilou

a book is better than a thread, i think
i don’t want to say that this theory is assumed as ‘true’, really. but the human body itself somewhat follow that number, and the very first architects/builder tools where based on human ‘parts’ with this ratio… plus lot of other examples and i’m sure, inverse examples

it’s all depend if you believe everything is with chance… or not  but since the world can theoretically be solved with equations, then everything is predictable

With also unpredictable equations

Sorry, this is false…see the “Godel Theorem” for a good explanations of what is possible to do with formal system.

The last scientist who think to foresee the world was Laplace…

cameyo

Indeed
This godel theorema is not easy to understand for no mathematician expert
Some aspirines needing for go to the end of the demonstration

Ps
You can find it hereGodel Theoreme of incompletude
And clic on Html

Yes, Pilou…but i suggest to read “Gödel, Escher, Bach”…it’s one of the best book i have read.

cameyo

I had read it, and have it
In French : “les Brins d’une Guirlande Eternelle”
The cover with the object “GEB” is a great idea ! Very 3D isn’t it ?
Maybe some one can make it with a cool material and texture ?
