ZScript: ZFabric16 works with Z2 (pag.5)

I love this script, I mean I love it. Having to play with the buttons, but know as you said the txt tut will be coming with Z2. Again, just think this is the neatest of neat scripts. Mucho Gracias :+1: :+1: :+1:

Thank you all.
After Z2 the new version of this script will have 16 colors…help…tutorials…examples…

Cameyo, I have to thank you so very very much!!!

I have been struggling with fabrics, and here you have a wonderful script. I am going to wait for Z2 script since I just found out about this thru another thread. And Z2 is now just a few days away

To finally be able to get real looking material, HEAVEN !!!

Thank you so very much

Thank you so much cameyo!

I am sure my last children book will make the best use of this fabric texture. The book will start end of April and expect to complete in two months part-time.
Will post some work by then.

Great update Cameyo, more colors to use. Is it
possible to add a small function to copy line
width as well as colors by clicking Vcol<>Hcol?
Your codes rock!!!
:+1:

Hi matvara
This exist : it’s the Button Copy

Hi Cameyo
A button who fill all Widths of a line with a same Number Enter by the User ?
Thx by Advance
Pilou

I love this script but have a few questions.
What screen size do you use so all the colors are on the same line.
To choose a color do you click on the color button and give it a value?
how do you get vertical and horizontal lines in the same texture.
Thanking U in advance,
Ops also is there going to be a txt tut any time soon? I am a slow learner.

Hi Sprite
For choose a color :click to the Menu/ Color/palette and just click on a color fabric square
For make Horizontal and vertical visible you must “disable” some colors in the “up” (H&V) else you will see just vertical or Horizontal lines

Another great zscript Cameyo - thanks for putting in the time to produce it.

I’ve just had a chance to start experimenting and I’m having some problems with it though, notably the way it is drawing the lines at an increasing angle across or down the page. Have I got an odd setting somewhere that is causing this? I also can’t figure out how to get the lines to reach the edge of the canvas. I am using a default 640x480 res with X2 set to 640 and Y2 set to 480. I’m using the latest version (16.zip).

PS: I tried version 12 and the same problem happens so I guess the cause is my end.

Cameyo, I can tell this HAS to be a great script, but still going to wait until after Z2 is launched, cuz as you said (Lordy) there may be some script coding changes.

And, knowing me, I cannot keep my mouth shut LOL … so here goes.

When a script is written, you know it is good, cuz everyone wants a “better” version.

But I am here to tell you nice people, as a retired programmer, but not as high up as Cameyo, that every change that is made to a script (program), in many ways makes it so the script is not as good as the original. That is because all your “suggestions” interact with the other code, and it will cause problems that later you all are going to have to live with.

So please, let Cameyo have his space for his artistic abilities with scripts, you all know he has heard you yelling MORE MORE MORE, and he knows you have done that because you love his script, but do the guy a favor, and dont wear him down to the bone LOL.

To be blunt, don’t be vultures who want everything, and pick all the meat off the original script.

He said on page 3 or 4 that he only wanted a 121 ONLY LOL.

Wait, be patient, for Z2 to come out, and please let the guy breathe  I am promising you, you let an artist at scripting have breathing room, you are going to get a lot more then even you can think of, cuz there is no better critique then the artist themselves.

so wait for Z2 to come out, and quit asking for MORE MORE and still MORE.

Lord, this is one of the reasons I will never program a script for anyone, cuz you cannot please EVERYONE LOL.

Cameyo, take a breather, dont think (or try not to think) about this script until you want to AFTER Z2 release. And if it stops being fun, then take a long breather

Rest of us will stop being vultures, wont we my friends

Forever a big mouth

Mandy

Thank you all.
Bonecradle, sorry i don’t understand your problem…Can you explain your steps to reproduce the error ?
Try this:
1.load the script
2.press ‘default’ button
3.press ‘vpaint’ button
4.press ‘hpaint’ button

Kitty…you known me…some relax days…until Z2.

Pilou…you known my script better than me

cameyo

Cameyo…love this script…specially being able to add a material.

a small sample:

sorry for the quality and size but couldn’t get it to pass the 200k limit otherwise.

Hi Cameyo

I figured the problem out - all I need to do is set Preferences>Draw>Mouse averaging to 1 and it works fine now. Increasing Mouse averaging causes the angle to get increasingly worse across the page.

Now I can play

Wow, how’s this for an eye-bender

HINT: you can use any brush that can apply RGB colour with this zscript. The glow brush is great for blending gradients if you use slightly different brush sizes from the first run.

Possibilities seem endless.

Oh, this was done with the fibre brush
Unfortunately it has lost some of its optical depth with the jpeg compression - the original looks like one of those 3D optical illusions.

Hi Bone
Of course you can use any brushes, and any Zadd sub, cut, and intensity rgb, and material and variated size etc
Even 3D object !!!
It’s a very funny prog
Cameyo rocks one more time
Pilou

This is a great piece of work, cameyo. 50.

this is a great idea and a great script!
I love the textures matvara made with it.

Well done, cameyo!

Thank you for the great script, cameyo :+1: :+1: :+1:
