ZMapper - GL_Invalid_enum

Hey All,

I am confused as to whether I am doing domething wrong, seeing that I am very new to Zbrush and the Zmapper plug in. My model , at SDiv level 6, is 1,900,000 polys and the SDiv level 1 , is 1,800 polys.
My settings in Zmapper are:
Spin OFF
Opague ON
Tangent Space Nmap
NMap & Cavity: Sharpen Bump Map Details

Basically, once the settings are completed (with texture and alpha applied), I press Create Normal Map. My concern is that a warning pops up: GL_Invalid_enum.
I find I must continually press OK, in order for the map to generate. I have been doing this continually for the past couple of days … literally!
Once in a while, I must drag the circular icon above the left hand canvass screen, in order to ‘kick’ it into gear.

Am I doing something wrong? My computer is about 5 years old, so I know the video card and speed are a factor … but I didn’t think it would be this crazy. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Try installing more current drivers for your video card. You should be able to download them from the card manufacturer website. If it’s an nVidia card, you’ve got it really easy because you can just go to www.nvidia.com rather than having to find the particular card manufacturer.

Thanks for the advice … sorry for being retarded, but how do I find the type of Video Driver?
I am, by no means, a tekky - computer devices are not my thing, except the software.

Right-click on your desktop and choose Properties. From the new window, choose the Settings tab. You’ll see a screen that tells you what graphics card you’re running.
