Zowie! thats pushin it. nice explorations. it would be nice to see you take some of the forms that you’ve created in the sculpts and refine them further beyond the texture left by your choice of brush. there’s lots of potential there, very cool.
nellement, if the Photoshop treatments are getting in the way of the presentation of your 3d models then it IS about the lens effects.
It is hard to really see some of the details in your models because there’s a red/cyan fringe getting in the way. Please don’t misunderstand me, this is an honest critique.

small crit… your triangloloo character works so much better in the front view. though i don’t know what it is i don’t really like about the side view. sorry.
think it’s the shape of the legs. they are too slim.
