Is possible to download all the tutorials?
thanks in advance

Amazing. Can’t wait to get started, although I’ve still got to watch a Zbrush 4 training dvd first. I hope by that time there will be some good dynamesh tutorials out, because that seems alot easier to use than shadowbox. Great stuff Pixologic!

hello all

With the Slice Curve brush you can cut a single subtool into pieces. Lets say I have a humanoid model and decide I don’t like the legs, so I cut them off with the Slice Curve Brush. Can I delete the legs since they are still part of the original (full body) subtool?

Yes you can.
When you Slice the model, new Polygroups are being created (you can see them by pressing CTRL+F).
Hide the group you want to delete (hiding or showing polygroup parts can be done by holding down CTRL+SHIFT and clicking on polygroups. (The first click hides every polygroup except the polygroup that you clicked on. By clicking on that Polygroup again you inverse what is hidden. Clicking in the empty space unhides all polygroups).
Once the parts you want to delete are hidden, go to Tool>Geometry and hit the “DelHidden” button (located towards the bottom of the Geometry pallete).

Hi:)
More renders and information posted in here

awesome… Zbrush, I’ll follow you till death do us part… :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

This is amazing… but can one use all these features as masking brush? Would be great…!

Just watched the CURVE EDITABLE POLYPAINT video.

All I can say is WOW!!! this is going to change the way I do so many things!!

Every new movie is a surprise and opens a wonderful new door to explore … you guys are amazing!

Hello Sigmund

You can use the Curve Mode on any masking brush. When you are holding the Ctrl key just go to the stroke palette and turn on Curve Mode. Now when you use that mask brush you will have curve mode.

Paul

Are there going to be more dynamesh videos? It sounded like there was going to be a lot on the dynamesh introduction video.

Can curves be used to make a shoelace? For instance the tie and and the lacing that goes through the eyelets that creates the criscross patern seen on most shoes? Does the mesh have to be in a dynamesh mode to use curves?

curve for polypaint is huge , and the options are great !!! BTW didn’t get curve mode is for everything. last vid opened a new world to me !

Thanks Paul… thought there would be a simple solution, we tend to make things complicated and find easier solutions like ripping someone elses brain… this because I haven’t had the time to play around with all the new features, to busy and jealous of those who have got the time…

Thanks and next time, I’ll make sometime, was a good try and now I know it’ll work…

Ziggy

I love the fact you just said all that!!!

This last video on Curve editable Polypaint… WOW! just WOW!

I’m finding less and less need to have other applications even installed at all!
With every new feature you folks open windows to, you add to my amazement at just how much zbrush has grown since it’s first appearance… It has maintained the point on the spearhead of innovation in nearly every aspect of 3d work.

I love you guys at Pixologic!

By the way, although I appreciate your work Mr Kean, you did make watching the video a bit painful… perhaps due to having gone over basics in Zbrush, such as pressing “S” or pressing “B” for brushes… but that’s just me… as for the rest GREAT JOB, and thank you!

I love you guys at Pixologic! Thank you…

awesome stuff, I love it that we can paint spec maps now…

regarding the video "SHADER AND MATERIAL BLEND " does any one know how to export this as a spec/reflection map for use in animation software?
