The solve has aalready been posted at the support site.
You do what it says–unzip the the download straight to your Program Files folder. THEN, go to Program Files, find the “Zbrush 3.5” folder, and in there is a folder called “Troubleshoot Help”. There is an executable file with a very long name there. Click on it, and it will run and install the software.
i only bought mine a couple of weeks ago…probly means i’m at the end of the list…lol…

ZBrush 3.5: “Activation Has Failed” message, or ZBrush keeps asking for activation after being restarted.

First Attempt.
Straight from a zsphere cage, to the Sketch and Armature brushes, and to a Polymesh for the sculpt.
(BTW, kids, it was messy. An hour of getting used to the feeling of drawing with a glue gun, aiming the Armature brush right, and filling in holes.)

Yeah, I got the email sometime after this morning after the release announcement and when I woke up (cough this afternoon). I have NO idea what “order” they use to send out emails.
Alphabetical? My last name starts with a D.
Good to know as i also have the same problem that wolftrax had and sent a support ticket perhaps i should have waited
Well, I wish I had the experience with ZBrush to show for that early release number! LOL It’s one of those apps that I NEVER have the time to learn as much as I want to. But this is the release where I am bound and determined to learn it!

Ah, there ya go, alphabetical by screenname. Who knows?
I bet they wouldn’t say either. IF it was alphabetical by anything, a lot of users would change their emails/screennames/real names to start with an A, lol.
Hmm…it doesn’t seem like it…i will have to test it out in XSI…
I try to run the exe. but I get a message saying “This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem” What the heck is going on?! I didn’t install anything to begin with! Anyone else getting this problem?:evil:
