***** ZBrush 2 Practical Guide *****

cheers, thanks for this great resource to an excellent product!

Wonderful!!!
Precioso,
Bellisimo,
Just-in-time!!!

I feel a bit neglected with the new PDF document that was released. There is no tut on working with ZB2 and C4D like there is for LW, Maya, ect ect. Are we C4D users not worthy? Besides that the PDF is fan freaking tastic

Thank you…i haven’t read it, but i KNOW it is fantastic.

Thank you Pixologic and beta-testers.

cameyo

p.s. only a small problem: there is not page numbers…

WoW! I have a few programs, but z really understands how a noob feels.Nothing like a good clear colorfull project style manual that covers displacement and normal maps too.Wow thanks Mathew thats gona make many vereeee happy. :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

Hey dfaris! im a c4d user too.Talk about frustrated.great app.Awesomely clean and stable, but the germans are neglecting the N.Americans(no english anything), except 1 descent book and another bad one.Tons of stuff in German. And they know we need it but dont care.Compare this to Z. The Z people care about their users.Yes C4d has a big manual and lots of online tuts that dont addreess real needs. Maxon gets 5 thumbs down.good program no support. Thanks be to Z for being different.WO! I cant believe it.The issue of different learning styles is addressed.i think this is unprecedented in American history. For once we are recognized as having different methods of learning.Im going to cry.joyeeeeee! :+1:

I’m not a C4D fan, but where is the german manual for ZBRush???

Got it?

Plus, why does the PDF has no page numbers when you print it?

thx a lot fo this help…thx again ombres…

Thanks for this! it is appreciated.

This is an excellent manual, and far exceeds anything that has gone before it! Well done.
I especially liked the Poser 5 stuff at the back - really nice touch.

I’d just like to point a few things that could improve this even further (hope you don’t mind - I’m a tech author).

Page numbering and section numbering.
Headers and footers on each page.
An index at the back.
The open options of the PDF could be set to ā€˜Fit in Window’.

All of these would be useful for those of us who wish to print out the manual.
Anyway, keep going - this is one of the coolest user guides I’ve seen for a long time!

Hi guys. I just joined this forum and it’s awesome. Hoewver I am having trouble downloading the Practical Guide: I am already signed in and when I click on the link in the first page of this topic, a new page pops up asking me to login again, and then nothing happens. Can anybody help?

Thank you in advance,

I’ve just downloaded the practical guide and it’s superb! Thanks a lot, it’s really whetted my appetite fo the Mac version of ZB2! - Baz

Well I finally got around to downloading the pdf last night and it’s fanastic - on white and easy for printing too - yipee.

I’m going to sound churlish here but I wish that selecting text and graphics had not been protected as I wished to add new and key points of useful information pertinent to V2 into my database.

Would you perhaps consider enabling this specific functionality?

The Flooze

Great guide!
The only minor flaw I see is the absence of page numbers (you know, being an ISO quality norms doesn’t help).

BTW, when is the ā€œofficialā€ manual going to be released? Any news?

In the process of Dl’ing … Thank You very much

I printed it out a week ago and I’m eating it already. Just Thanks to the team, really. This is too much to be true. I wanted you to know how happy I am for that.
Best regards
