Yoda

Looking REALLY good man… how are you getting those nice little wrinkles? Are you using a specific alpha?

great work !
i think some of the lines and wrinkles coming from the sides of the eyes to the ears are a bit too definite and continuous at the moment ; its a little distracting . cant wait to see a render!
cheers,
d

:ooops ! sorry that i missed that mate . im an idiot hehe . nice render !

True, Yoda has looked different in the various films in the series. He looked his worse in The Phantom Menace. Unfortunately, Yoda’s looks were the least of what was wrong with that film. I like how your Yoda looks in the ZBrush screen shot. Sometimes when I see the model without the textures I can appreciate all the little details more.

Could you be a little more specific? Like which ones you use and the technique behind using it? Sorry I am still relatively new to Zbrush and entirely new to 3.5 and i would like to be able to get that kinda of detail in my work.

Here is some wire.
I am writing tutorial about this image where i will explain most of the process.

The model is well made, I’m stay tuned for know mroe infos on the process & softwares used.

Bye

not bad, it’s a good start. Make sure to remember basic shapes first, details come second. I notice that your head is almost round , and if you look at your refs, you’ll see his head is more diamond shaped (like Ace of Diamonds, … lozenge-shaped).

beautiful work :):+1:
