Nice work man. This is one of me favorite x-men characters, you did a really great job, I like the comice effect that it gives. Looking forward t seeing more.
awsome man…
this is just beautiful to motivate me doing some Marvel heros …
keep coming:D
I really like your pose Falfa, nice job man!!

Absolutely incredible, I love it! This has given me that extra boost I needed to keep learning Zbrush. You inspired me to have a quick go at polypaining the demo soldier but it didn’t look good, I have trouble getting the colors I want using Zbrush… I need my trusty hue/sat sliders from photoshop so I can directly see the changes on the model?
Now that is awesome. Love it.
great work man, love the sculpt…i would also love to see a wireframe of the base and high res:D
Excellent sculpting work. Love the comic feel of the piece too
Excellent work, love the pose and the overall look and colours did you do the pose in ZBrush alone??
congrats on the top row plug…
well deserved.

great modeling, superb!
Thanks all,
AngelJ : as Pigumon said, the superheroes proportions are pushed a bit, a standard human have a 7/8 heads height, and a comics 9 heads and sometime more , the body is more powerful.
Pigumon : thanks, you right
nightwoodwolf,cashfire,Kupo,Wozrush,
Reactor,pixolClay,mrjAnim,abyss103,goktugg : THANKS !!
Stubi : thanks, love your last work !!
Aumakua : I thought use transposemaster for posing, unfortunately i had problems with some subtools, some of them stayed in original position, and i got an error message, on others some pikes appeared, finally, after long long fruitless tests , i exported level 2 body in max to make a skinning, for the rest i used standard transpose for adjustements.
i’ll post others view soon.

Are you applying/polypainting just a basic flat color to the model/subtools, and allowing the highlights and shadows to be created naturally by the 3D model or are you actually applying your own colors to make the shadows and highlights look better? ie: the more brownish tones on the yellow bits
Falfa/Pigumon,
Proportions are definitely exaggerated in the various comic styles, some more than others. Initially when I saw the image that was my first impression about the head size. I guess partly due to my first experiences reading x-men in the late 70’s/early 80’s cyclops had more “normal” male proportions. So when I saw the title Classic I suppose I had a pre-disposition to the older type of cyclops I remember. More of a slender athletic build compared to say the hulk, colossus, etc. where the smaller head bigger body usually gets pushed on those bigger guys. Over the years the styles have been pushed further and further for sure. Ahh memories, time to break out the comic collection. Any rate as I said great stuff Falfa!!
awesome cyclops man.
Fantastic work, man…(no coments)
Nice model friend.
I like his yellow blue combo costume, you nailed it.
Have nothing to say but , Keep this level up.
Not really the classic Cyclops - more the Jim Lee Cyclops - but still, this is great work! Love it. Now do a classic one, using the original costumes…hmm…or maybe I will. Anyway, keep up the great work!
Edit : Going back to have another look…the pose could be more dynamic.
Minor sugestion if I may, change the hair on the back of his head, mess it up a bit. Looks a bit odd. As for the rest…you are a master, I had a look at your other posts on the user gallery, great stuff. We gotta get you to post more of your stuff. 5 from me, I dont get to see this sort of “comic” style done as much as I would like to.
Hey nice work Falfa, I love me some marvel.
Even tho I despise Cyclopes w/ a passion (wolverine would kick his butt), but an awesome model
