Working on dolly.

Fun! Waiting for an update.

Great to hear you are back in the saddle.

Loved the window scene. And with your talent and great eye, I am looking forward to it’s update.

Your dollies are better than mine…mine always end up looking like something from a Chucky movie.

seasons greetings my friend,

Hey, there Bas and Ron, thanks, keep ya posted. 50.

nice. that all sculpted in zbrush as one piece?

Dude! Good to have you back 50’sKID, hasn’t been the same without you!

This looks promising…

I AGREE WITH JASON !

Hi, lil-goodi-2shoes, yes, Zspheres, with the exception of the quickly stuck on nose and eyes.

Hi Jason and Andre, I’ve got to come up with somemore ‘girly’ toys,…any ideas?
50.

Why not a stylized Barbie - original proportions? The era that you so love! Well, me too! A stuffed bunny with floppy ears always appeared in the hands of the young ladies. An Elvis doll or record album, anything by Betty Crocker, oh I could go on and on…

Good ideas, Jason. I’m trying to stick in the 40’s, although , maybe I could expand it to a timeless kindoff dream window. Not a bad concept. (You’ve got bunnies on the brain), what was that oven called that all the girls had? Talk to ya later. 50.

look this Kid:

btw, she looks like a girlfriend I had. I found here in a bar and the next morning I was thinking, ‘Who was this girl and how did she look like?’ Something like your dolly was the only thing I could remember

Ok, OK, Bas wins! That is just creepy!!

Oh and these rock!

Hi Ron, thanks for the ideas! I’m getting a good feel for it now, looks like more work. Maybe I can extend my deadline to next Xmas. 50.

Here are a couple of links -

The second is a link to an ebay search. Lots of pics at both.

During the 40’s war toys were big. i.e. tanks, guns etc…
Giants were things like tinker toys, lincoln logs etc…
Modeling a Tinker Toy model would be interesting.

Hi Blaine from Alaska, thank you for the great links, I love the ‘Corgi Batcar’. 50.
