Breathtaking! I’m in love with the Underworld movies - so I can only bow in front of an artist who worked on it.

Amazing work. Everything is awesome…man 10/10

I have to agree with Slice over the holy crap, wait a minute that guy wasn’t even real? OMG, look out for the screen actors guild, those extras are gonna be pissed when they realize you’re top row skills are gonna put them outta work in the near future! AMAZING stuff!

teach me! lol… awesome.

This kind of stuff is amazing to see! Thank you very much for posting here

Hey MR. BAHU, amazing work. Glad to see that such good talent has been at Luma, my FAVORITE STUDIO!!! I would really appreciate it if you could post some wireframe shots of the characters (if possible) to see some examples of production quality topology. Thanks and hope to see more work from you.

I, for one, am very impressed also with these sculpts, but after careful examination, I’m quite certain the actors were digitally scanned and most of the more impressive skin turbulence, particularly around the knees, etc, are the result of those scans rather than skillful sculpture.

The parts of the roles in the movie were played by real actors; they existed first. Naturally, the modelling will have to match the existing actor.

Still… very commercial, beautiful work!

EricShawn Sorry Man, the only scan I had access to was for only one of those guys, and was useless for the details in ZB because it was not very detailed and precise, and they all have to share the same topo for blendShape(all human and wolf) so I did the wolf first, and then the two guys with the same mesh. Anyway, that scan we had access to didn’t have legs and knees, so your all wrong on that, those details are pure sculpt…claytube for skin turbulence is tha way! No retopology of the scan, or projection of details coming from scan or think like that…

Yes like you said they where real actor, but no..not every movie have a digital scan for every actor... But thanks for the comment ;)

I knew it wasn’t scan at all. It’s really breathtaking detail on knees - so natural and realistic.

I’m kind of afraid of asking about specifications of the workstations you guys are using.

I have an Athlon 64 x2 4400+ with 4 gigs and never encouraged enough to try stuff like these on Zbrush.

And how did you accomplished the digital doubles so well?! They did it on Superman Returns too - face and body was exactly the same with the actual actor.

Is it just talent or technique, or working a lot - or all of them?

Sorry for too many questions MR.BAHU… I hardly have chance to chat with people who working on Hollywood :frowning:

Would be great if you could go over the texturing process. Did you use polypaint, Photoshop, BodyPaint, all of them?? A little overview of your workflow would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
