some really cool suggestions in here.
Aside from all the brigeman, loomis, hogarth, and bammes i’ve got all over my room… i picked up a couple of the d’artiste books that were pretty cool. Got a friend who’s just ordered the massive black book too (waiting to find out how awsome it is :P).
Another really inspiring book i picked was Henry Yan’s figure drawing… really good stuff in there if you’re into life drawing (process pages too)

cool thread.
I have a huge amount of books in my library, but
i will pick 2 that are among my favorite:
Eliot Goldfinger for human anatomy (Great in combination with the book that Hell666 suggested on page 1).

… well, hard to pick a certain one, but I guess that with this book it had been the start into something lasting, inspiring not only my drawings but seeing things slightly different. Some of them, anyway.
This one (co written with the other genius, Alan Lee) has been done long before Brian Froud combined forces with a likeminded fellow - Terry Jones.

Most of the work of Brian Froud is still available, so …!
metamesh thanks mr alex for your participation
