hey antisymmetry,
thanks for your reply! no, i didn’t think about flesh them out… but maybe i will, who knows…
i don’t save every quicky i make… the last one would be interesting with a body, but i didn’t save him :frowning:

so, here is a new one… sorry 'bout the music… :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey there

here is something new i started yesterday.
i am aiming at “headhunterz” aka willem rebergen, one of my favorite dj’s.
he is making such music you hear in my vid… don’t be scared. :stuck_out_tongue:

my reference is attached so please tell if he is recognizable.
its very hard to catch such a “generic” face… but i try to push it until he is he…

the head and the shoes are done from a sphere like you see… i love dynamesh!!!

edit: okay, now i see one mistake: his head is too long… if you see something else, please tell me!

Hey there,

just created the headphones for my dj.
hope you like it.

btw: i created a new color-sheme for my zbrush-ui. if you like it, i would share it.

hey there,

further exploration of R2… it doesn’t stop to amaze me… i just love it
created in 2,5 hours from nothin…

and a small update on the likeness… i think, i am nearly there.

btw.
who likes can download my Colorsheme here: http://www.jan-daniel.nl/files/goodies/uicolors.rarwho likes can download my custom interface here: http://www.jan-daniel.nl/files/goodies/custom_interface.rar

Looking good wethand, thanks for the videos and the colors for the interface. I get only the colors, not the interface, on either link though.

Ezra

hey Ezra,

sorry for that,
i corrected the link!
thanks for the hint!

Cool sculpts. One issue with your DJ sculpt is that his sternocleidomastoid muscles are diverging away from his sternum, rather than tapering together:

scm.jpg

wow! okay… i don’t understand your words (i don’t know the right names for the muscles/bones), but i understand your pic!
many thanks for your advice, i will correct this during my next session! thanks for your feedback, it’s a great help and i appreciate it!

interface and colors are cool wethand. thanks for sharing.

Ezra

hey there,

two new things.
for the gun: nearly three hours practice of hard surface modelling… not 100% accurate MP5. maybe i’ll continue with texture
for the guy: a out-of-a-ball-study which. i realized how much anatomy practice i need…

hopefully youtube doesn’t take too long to process this clip… i already embedded it…

Hey Wethand, that hard surface modelling video of the gun was really cool to watch you making it!!! :+1:

Thanks for posting:D

thank you very much polo!
love to hear some like my work.

so, meine ZBrush Knigge… was ist zbrush?
ich habe vor, ein paar videos zum thema zbrush zu machen und das ist das erste.

würde mich freuen, eine meinung von jemandem zu hören, der zbrush auch so kennt.

danke schonmal

Hi,

there is no need for another series of beginner videos for ZB I think, unless it’s your hobby… In fact there are a lot of them around, Youtube is full of em. For me ZB Classroom is the first place to get in touch with ZB.

BTW: Nice work on the Rifle!

To master the human form you have to get good anatomical knowledge. For me, Burne Hogarths sketching books are a great reference. But be warned, it’s a long way to sculpt perfect organic forms. I’m still scared to post my work here because I think it’s too bad…maybe sometimes…

Keep up learning!

greez, René

hey cuffi,

thanks for your reply.
japs, there are too many beginner series, thats completely right.
but there are not many tutorials in german. and i heard some people complaining about that.
so maybe i will share some workflows on german if i get the time to.

and yeahps, human anatomy is one of the hardest things to learn… Burne Hogarths books are really helpful
but my favorite book about anatomy is this one: Sarah Simblet - Anatomy for the Artist

thanks again for your reply
i was thinking about making a beginner-series in german language, but u are right… there are already too many of them.

Hey Wethand,

I don’t know if there are a lot german users around…Sure, there is a german ZB forum but there are a few members only…

greez, cuffi

thema ist “customizing the user interface”
vielleicht hilfts ja dem ein oder anderen:

Hello there

sadly i am REALLY busy with real life…
beside my work i got involved into a project i work alot for.

but i couldnt resist to test the new fibre-mesh feature…
i LOVE it!!! maybe this dickhead isn’t the best way to test it but i could go through all the settings and…
…damn, pixologic DOESNT STOP TO AMAZE ME!!! i am SUCH a big fan of that software…
even if i don’t use it in my job, it helps me to stay alive…

thanks pixologic for such a big bang again!

here is the result of my first experiment:
