Walt

Incredible rendering of Walt. Congratulations!!!
The only thing attracting my eye is his shirt and jacket which are “too perfect” for the shirt and “too uniform” for the jacket’s texture. Also, maybe the beard’s shadow is too sharp on the jacket’s collar.
VERY VERY VERY NICE!
I’m blown away!
I hope someday I can get as good as you in ZBrush.
Looking forward to see more of your work

Man, you work is amazing. Beautiful eyes, model, fabric… Wonderful!!!
and thanks for the comment on my first post.

So impressive - the new eyes are particularly amazing. Congrats!

best work!:+1:

Yisus, I’m trying to find a way to do those eyes, but I’m getting mad LOL. Btw, well done, awesome work!

nice work brother :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

I remember this when you did it, but have just come across it again having purchased Octane. Would you care to share any more details on your skin set up? or perhaps point me in the direction of where I can learn it? The skin shader is just superb.

How do you get that skin texture in your model? Do you use an alpha?

I’m a huge fan of photorealism and I think you nailed it Rikk. In spite of the naysayers, using projection techniques is not at all an easy thing to do: you need matched lighting levels/curves as well as color matched/hue matched photoreference from various different angles as well as the ability to remove the shadows and specular from the photoreference. All of that just to begin - then you need to carefully line up the reference photos and texture on to the model. Anyone who says this is easy is talking crap.

Once again: kudos.

One question if you don’t mind: would you care to share your Octane mixed material and SSS settings?

Fantastic work! I’d love to see your skin painting process.

Looks really good man!

Rikk: You rock guy! Thank you so much for positing your node settings in Octane! You have helped me over an artistic block and perhaps soon I won’t be as embarrassed that I might post some of my work here. Thank you so much!

Works great! A lot of detail!:+1:

Amazing work!!!
