Nice effect… Nanomesh?

I took the time to stroll through your gallery here, and I still liked everything as I liked it before. Then I visited your Artstation pages and read the article over at CGTalk and now I like your works even more.

quote:

"Prejudice and stereotypes become part of our system from an early age. I see babies and young kids marvel at everything about everybody around. But as they grow the typecasting sets in, ironically, taught by us as parents, peers, friends and teachers.

I dream of a world with the vision that each one of us has beyond the pigeon hole, a vision that considers and appreciates the unconventional thought processes and approaches."

This is so true…Thanks for posting here, and it is always a pleasure to see you have added something new to your gallery.

Erik Heyninck: I am glad that you liked my work, your comments means a lot to me and thank you for taking out time to stroll through my gallery and article,
.Once again thank you for your encouraging words and support .:)

making of “Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder”

making of Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder.jpg

1. First step reused and sculpted the female model.

2. Second step created individual strand mesh.

3. Third step converted individual strand mesh to nano-mesh and played with the settings.

4. Fourth step once i was happy with the nano-mesh i used small mesh group to create different insert brush.

5. Fifth step i used De-former and started bending and fitting accordingly to the model and used move tool for fine fitting and adjustment according to the body. 6. sixth step created low poly model using zremesher form the high poly model for micro mesh. used same individual strands mesh and applied it as micro mesh and played with spin edge and alien edge options to get variation and i used move topological brush for braking random feel also symmetry.
7. seventh step combined all the sub tool and used move topological for variation and breakup. once i was happy with the result i took it to key-shot and rendered.</b>
