What a monster! You really nailed Venom. It seems like you get a sense of his personality just by looking at him. Great work man!
I was wondering the same thing as Jadedsoul. DispMap, Normal or both? And do you generate your maps the same as we commoners or does Ubisoft have some kind of in-house-uber generator that kicks all of my maps asses. I just can’t seem to get that great a quality out of mine.

jadedsoul since this guy doesn’t have human skin I’ve been doing lot of trial and errors, I used a diffuse and a specular/color + hdr map. I am sending some 3ds max screenshots (I hope it’s going to be helpfull).
I compose all the passes in photoshop (since it’s a still frame) I would have used after fx for videos.
My mid-res is 118528 for the body and I used a normal only! (as seen on the screenshots)

Thanks a lot guys for the comments! I am starting the background slowly, I will work on it during my lunch hour, I will use zbrush to do a lot of the decorative art on the building. I am also going to repose and detail the right hand, I got a lot of work ahead of me!
