Venom [WIP]

Nice Job!

Just remember not to use 100 percent black when you polypaint him.
Zbrush seems to use pure black as masking, so if you try to pose him nothing that is 100 per cent black will be affected.

I figured that out when I was transposing my dragon model. The claws would stretch like gum.

And you should download transpose master. It is a VERY cool plugin, easy to use. It will let you pose your model in one shot, seeing as his tongue is a subtool. Are his teeth part of the body, or are they a subtool?

A link to some of myu work: let me know what you think

Thanks for the rating and the advice mate, I’ll keep it in mind while doing some transposing and polypainting.
Take care

Cool update bro keep it up it’s almost finished :D.

Update -> made the web, all that remains is the hexagonal texture from the costume. I think I’ll do that tomorrow, maybe I’ll try to make an alpha with which I could make that happen.
Take care, and, rate please

Loving your Venom dude (Big Spidey/Venom fan here)
Did you use any Venom references for that? or just from the top of your head?
I look forward to seeing it complete. Keep up the good work

YEAHH!!!

I am very impressed with your progress!!

Re-read your posts, and find the one where you thought that your model was finished, and you just wanted to paint it and get it over with…

Compare it to what you have accomplished.
You have done some awesome work!!

Thanks

Some hours spent on thousands of DragRecting…

I think the model is ready now for polypainting.
Will do that soon.
Take care

Tip: press P when inside of Zbrush

Thanks, I always forget to enable Perspective when rendering.

Spent some minutes on a big part of the polypainting…
Although it doesn’t have a very colorful costume, it will be some tough work.

Probably this is the last version of polypainting. I will do some color tweaks on the teeth soon…
Does somebody know how to do something like digital production? Tips and comments are welcome.

looks pretty good, but I think it would look cooler if the facial features(eyes, nose, and mouth) were up higher on the head, leaving more jaw… just my $.02

It looks really good, dude

If I were you, I’d work a bit more on the teeth polypaint.
Make them all gross and full of plaque, kind of like a dog’s teeth: brownish at the root where they leave the gums, and have it gradient from yellow in the middle to white at the tips. It will draw more attention to the facial area.

Will do. My first and very filthy compositing coming soon.

So… this is the last post I think in this thread. Some new thread(s) or a sketchbook coming soon. If sincere, I really woudlnt expect such a progress and a such an result. Big thanks to those who gave me tips and supported indeed
Rate this guy ! :))

It looks awesome!!
You nailed it, guy:D

The only change I’d make is to paint his gums pinker, and not so red.

Thanks man it would look greater if I had some experience in compositing or in rendering in general  Though my 2 months of being in the “3d world” was pretty enough.
Also I would like to admit that ALL the work and all the sculpt is done with the mouse, I don’t have any graphic tablet
