Urban sniper

jayriggo- I do not use anything other than the things I’ve learned from the lessons as
(Character Modeling for Next-Gen Games Modeling and Sculpting with Richard Smith)and other.
The idea is to baked as clean as possible normal map.Then normal map can be converted in different map that help you for texturing model.

The most hard part is high poly model,but when you have a decent high-polygon model other steps are easy.
For baking I use xnormal

I use topogun for retopology but i use always xnormal for bake

I think I’m gonna leave my home,my city,my country and live here in this thread :slight_smile: awesome works, I’m a total beginner so It would be great help if you point and shoot me at some study materials :smiley:

Love your work man, really awesome stuff. Are you doing retop of the helmet pieces right in zbrush?

Sometimes i use Zbrush ZRemesher sometimes 3d max both work.
But I always create base shape in Zbrush, it’s very easy and fun :slight_smile:
