Both models are great, but I can see why we are all salivating over the cowgirl. She is a fine piece of ahh… work.
Great work dude.
And when we will see the Cow girl textured?
just out of curiosity is the cow girl model animatable ?
the topology around the hips and thighs look different then I’ve seen on other models.
Hi, Samar!
Thanks very much for choosing to & for taking the time to describe the whole process of designing your cowgirl, man. The wireframes are a HUGE guide for me.
Super cool work!
All the best!
johny
wonderful!
I love the girl especially,
pretty beatiful
What’s there to say? That cowgirl is pitch perfect in every way.
how can I get my hands on the base mesh? I’d love to sculpt it.
Question:
Do I understand this right? You create a separate subtool for the head to up the sub d’s higher than the body? Do you re-attach it or keep it as a separate subtool the whole time?
I ask this because I always have problems with a character that I can only get the Sub D’s to a certain level and I can’t subdivide anymore without crashing it when I need more detail on the head. Separating the head seems to be the answer I guess.
if you read the whole thread, then you will find this link :
nice cowgirl
Not a valid Zip archive.
yea I did read it…thanks lol.
…try 7-zip to extract the file, because the zip file is okay.
but it is password protected ( password is mm )
Nope. Won’t open with 7-Zip either. Any suggestions?
I tried WinRAR and WinZip…the file is opened and is empty. No prompt for PW only a box that pops up to say its an “Invalid Zip file”.
Yeah. That file is bad. If you look further down the thread there is a re-post of the file that works. Try that one. I will try to find it again and post a link here.
Sorry. That is the correct link. I just tried downloading it again and the file is in the zip. Wonder what the error your getting is?
Jumping briefly back to the original topic, I was really impressed with the character design of the cowgirl, and am using it as a reference for a model that I am working on right now. Very good job!
In that vein, though, how exactly did you manage to sculpt the eyes? I’m having a few problems with designing the eyes; they don’t seem real enough. Do you guys have any tips you can give to an amateur? Yeah, I figure some of you guys will refer me to the forum “How-To” sections, and I’ve been using the search engine and reading through the forums a lot (There is a TON of stuff, too), but I’m wondering if I can get some more specific techniques for feminine eye designs.
Thanks for your time!
