The download problem has been fixed. I’ve moved the tutorials to a new server, and you can now download them automatically by clicking on the links, below. Thanks for your patience!

Hey, bub. Yeah, I’m talkin’ ta you sitting there at the computer. I’m lettin’ ya know that aurick finally finished his tutorial on how to use ZBrush to make some kick-butt stuff fer Poser.

Just so ya know, this only works with the commercial version of ZBrush. So if you’ve actually bought ZBrush, go ahead and download the tutorial here:

:b2: [Poser Tutorial](http://www.aurickle.com/downloads/PoserTutorial.zip) (1.39 MB)

Oh, and aurick wanted me to tell ya that he’d appreciate any feedback. It’ll help him fine tune it, if need be. Thanks, and have fun!

Just a note: This tutorial was written for version 1.23, before TextureMaster was even available. The texturing section could actually be done better using the TextureMaster ZScript instead. But there are still times when you want to unwrap a texture, so it’s not a total loss. In addition, due to some changes in ZScript playback since then, the finished result is not perfect.

Finally, version 1.55b has some differences when it comes to exporting the morph target. You can read about those here.

Oi-oi!-oi!
Hey G R E A T contribution Aurick! This must of taken you ages to make! Thanks for your time and effort making this for the community! Fantastic!
Actually I was planning to sit down tomorrow and give Poser<>ZBrush a blast! Excellent timeing bud!
(See if I can do your efforts credit)
Thanks again

PS. Freedrive isn’t the best to download from! Any chance of hosting it elsewhere? It took about ten minutes to download!

I don’t have poser, but figured it would be great to see how you do your textures and hair and such in ZBrush. But when I went to download it this morning, the poser tutorial folder was empty :frowning: I’ll keep an eye out for when you repost the tutorial.

Damn Homey, I’m feelen ya.

But dawg! I go to your crib, and there ain’t nutten in it?

You be trippen, what? Maybe I’m trippen, what.

Word.

Theres two zip files there! Just one directory up from the Poser tutorials folder.

I can’t find the files either, at first it wouldn’t take the username and password. Then later it did, but I zee no files!

Course it could be just dumb me

Nope! just dumb me! Click on Aurick and ye shall find. I think you put that Poser Tutorial folder in there as an intelligence test

huh? zipfiles? right now i get the icons for an obviously empty poser-folder and the one containing CNN-files only… :frowning:

In case anyone missed my announcement at the top of the thread, this problem has now been resolved. You can download the tutorial from two new links that I’ve provided under Ogron’s mug.

Thanks for calling the matter to my attention!

Aurick, this is just friggin’ AWESOME! Darn nice work!

Great job! Wonderfully written and easy to follow. Loads of info!

One thing:
When I got the the end of the Morph section, clicking on Texture Tutorial brought me back to the begining of the flash movie.

Thanks for that 411. I’ll make sure that it is fixed before the final upload with the version for the Demo users. All three versions will be taken care of at the same time.

well, i did not want to, but aurick talked me into uploading the pic i did following his fantastico tutorial (thank you!) while the terrible news kept pouring in yesterday for therapeutic reasons. it was the first poser head object that ever fell into my hands and the modifications are slightly only. sorry for the disturbance that comes with it, my friends. hope that all of you and your beloved ones are fine and that the spread of pain comes to an end soonissimo.

take care
