An excellent concept beautifully executed. Certainly there is a ‘Daliesque’ quality there, though I have to admit that Bosch was the first name that sprung to my mind. A really top piece of art and a wonderful example of the sheer versatility of ZBrush.
As for the debate I see a clever and whimsical take on the 3000 year old story of the Trojan Horse. That there is still a great deal of inequality in even the most ‘civillised’ nations is clear, despite the strides made in the last forty years by the feminist movement. I wouldn’t be so secure about Afghanistan though. The ‘ousted’ Taleban control a large chunk of the country, and the ‘coalition’ is only there to protect the Caspian gas pipeline, and will keep the major Southern cities under control for appearances sake. They are happy to let the Taleban increase in power in the rest of the country. As soon as the US opens a new front (Iran, for instance), the Taleban will take over again. When that happens their previous barbarity towards women will look like a church picnic. There are many Muslim nations where women enjoy a level of freedom that surprises many, but only while they’re behaving themselves.
Most importantly, this is a wonderful piece of work, regardless of the sex or sexuality of the artist. Keep it up!
