finally got the time to finish up the base mesh of his outfit…now I dont have to worry about importing anything else into the scene. The weapon and shield are going to be done separately once I finish him though.
here what Iv got so far

needed a break from scultpting so I started to color test what I might want the skin to end up looking like color wise…its extreme wip right now
Damn this is so good, love the head and pose…
rohit:
thanks :)…hopefully I can keep that quality going, its going to take FOREVER before I finish this thing heh.
some texture work on his left shoulder pad and arm band…I may call this piece done
little update, still tons of refining on the skin but Im 99.9% done with the accessories and clothes. just need to tweak the fur on his ankles and a couple other pieces on his legs…link to full size image
sympathetic;)
I went to start sculpting my characters hands and realized I had never done a hand study…so I took some time to actually do one. I could probably do 50 more and still have more to learn. Back to the character I go tomorrow
couple hour sketch on my 30th birthday
great stuff here mate. attention to detail.
thanks…now if I could only find the time to complete my first character since I spend to much time in one area. Its a blessing and a curse heh
lovely work man.keep it up.
keep going with the lizard man, he is about 80% there!
oh hes gettin done :)…aside from a few extra accessories I MIGHT put on him Ill only have texturing left by next tuesday or wednesday, Im finalizing the skin sculpting
over the next few days I get time to work on him.
Thanks Diablo!
couple hours into texture testing and put a quick render together. The pic on the right is what you will actually see when his gear is turned on. It will actually be less in the end.
more feather testing…positioned on the character and textured the final color, I think Im calling them done. On to texturing the rest of his gear…most of the gear in the pic is not textured or finished.
worked on the shoulder piece this evening Im happy with the result…only regret is I wish i would have extracted the blood mask so I could change the color or waxiness at any time…oh well, live and learn
