HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…hehehehe GROOOVY BABY YEAH!!!
Hi aminuts, I really hope to finish this today, but don’t quote me on it.
Greetings, Keramazotti, thanks. 50.
Much like a fine wine or a zbrush update all good things take time and are worth the wait!! So however long…OK!!
Hi aminuts, thanks for your patience. I’ve started putting the scene together. I am putting a bit of a twist on it that you might appreciate. I’ve got to take a break and go play Xbox with my Nephew and Brother-in-Law. That should charge me up for more. See ya. 50.
Well, I got up really early to get this done. Had a few problems to work out along the way, but that’s normal. I put a little twist on it for any Harryhausen fans out there. I think it’s a film idea he would have done well. I can just imagine the moody scenes he would have done. Well, 'nuff said,…here it is. What do you think, Ron? 50.
I like it
Great composition Rich
Congratulations
Damn fine Triffid, Rich!! Very cool 50’s Sci-Fi poster feel. I saved this one to my harddrive. It brings back memories. I also Like the Harryhausen reference…
Dickie
Thank you, ilusiondigital.
Thanks to you, Dickie. You know, I really miss looking forward to his next release. Well, untill I get another idea, 50.

Well, my greetings and thanks go out to all of you, Sebcesoir, andre, marciani, Gary, and aminuts. Your responses make it worth the work. Aminuts, I watched that movie the other day, too. That film has a great poster. Well, better start thinking again. Bye, all. 50.
Pilou
Thanks Pilou, good to hear from you.
Hi five-oh,
Missed it when you first posted. As usual, well done! Again, one of my favorite Saturday Matinee movies that actually scared the crap out of me back then.
Seawater, who’da guessed?
Sven
Hi Sven, thanks. Yeah, I think back then it was more of what they didn’t show that was the scariest, more left to the imagination. 50.
Rich, sorry it took me a bit re refind this thread you worked so hard on…things have been kinda crazy around here and well it’s been enough to make a man go psycho…lol…
You did the Triffids a great service…I can almost here the little ice cream truck playing it’s lonely jingle like the pied piper in you scene. You really capture the nostalgic feel to the ole classics. That nice faded look and just the right colors. Thnx again and I definitely right clicked and saved this wonderful piece.
Ray would have loved this piece.
One of his I loved was 50 Million Years to Earth…The Almighty Y’mir…great character.
Have a great evening/day Rich and thnx again.
Ron
Hey, Ron, thanks! Maybe someday I’ll get up the nerve to try the Ymir. What a great design! Maybe the scene on the street corner where he’s holding the streetlamp in one hand and swinging the hapless victim in the other.
This was a fun piece to do and you inspired the idea. If anyone is playing with the idea of BUYING Zbrush,…just do it, It’s worth the price in FUN alone. Take care Ron, see ya later. Rich.
