I wanted to have a “as perfect as possible” topology so i can use it for as many characters as possible.
HenrySouth - Thanks! I want to do something that is not totally realistic but not fully stylized. Still a bit hard to nail it. I think I have to get the expression right and then let it flow from there.
GulagOneI - Thanks. I don’t mind sharing the wireframe work and my rules/formula for creating base meshes but I don’t feel confortable giving the model away.
kyphur - I agree. I tried some max renders to see how different the “look” would be with radiosity and a simple shader. I’ll try to backtrack in terms of wrinkles and stuff. I wanted to aim for a very pure and readable expression but its so easy to fall into the “old guy filled with wringles” in zbrush
x-titan - You nailed it! That was my main inspiration for this model. Also wondering if i will add some rastas to help with the sense of speed.
After looking at it today I really feel its going in a direction I don’t want to. I’ll try some slight expression variations and post them later. Right now he is more angry than anything and I need the focus and concentration to be the main things that you feel.
