Very nice piece. I agree that the low poly textures could use a lot of love but overall well done! Why not just get it printed somewhere else? there are dozens of places to do 3d prints online.

Hi, Rikk. Really nice piece. You should definitely pursue printing it somewhere else. Only suggestions I can make are, like the others, that the low poly textures are looking a bit flat. Even some random noise in photoshop using some metal/rock textures and really low opacity blend modes like overlay or soft light can really help to vary that stuff up an sell it more. Great job.

Really like the way her hair came out, her face is beautiful to my eyes anyway…and I really really like the color combinations that you chose…really enhances the whole piece, giving it unity of form,color harmony ect…Outstanding…

I’ve always liked Mai, great interpretation of her! Has anyone tried Shapeways for 3D printing? Very cheap pricing, just worried you get what you pay for though.

I kept the textures clean on purpose, I’m a big fan of Valve’s Team Fortress 2 style (who isn’t? 
). The low-poly is around 30k polys, and it was rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. 
About the 3D printing, I will search for an alternative, but AFAIK ownage was the absolute best in terms of quality… The webpage says they still alive, but I can’t find them, so to me is the same as they were gone.

Really nice! I like the tone/color of her skin for some reason…just a nice color. Although, she looks more like a “Queen of the Erotic Lounge Waitresses” or “Queen of Pole Dancers” more than a Queen of Fighters…

Somebody suggested me Protodemon as they have the same printing quality as ownage, but guess what? Theyr website is gone too…
Hmmmm I’m pretty sure Ownage is better and again, maybe I talk russian or smth, but Ownage’s website may be off, but they are still available (contact adress on the webpage) :eek:

They do amazing painting as well, the problem is the price, I’ve got a rough quote about how much I would pay to print it 20cm tall, and I wanted to cry… It’s ridiculously expensive… But I will probably do it!
