The Incredible Hulk

Wow.

I believe the most important point in the work displayed is your ability to be able to craft such intricate, realistic and believable anatomy into such enormous inhuman proportions. This is insane! I loved the old hulk and Eric Bana but Norton and the new one are just plain BETTER! The expressions, the poses, the impact, the hair, the eyes, everything!

I also like the fact that you’ve made the textures more relaistic rather than pure green. The skin mixing with the veins etc ultimately grounds the characters better in reality. Although there could’ve been more action near the end of the movie nonetheless the facial landmarks and expressions of the hulk were very real!! Were you also involved in other processes of the animation process? (blend shapes?)

Could you explain your workflow a bit to us if thats ok?
GREAT WORK AARON! :+1:

I really love the look of these models, especially for the Abomination, who looks really freaky and stuff… I took my brother to see the movie and this time, he was very frightened of the Hulk and Abomination…

You Rock Aaron!!! :+1:

Truely inspirational work.i just wanna say one thing that you have your own style of class.this is not like one artist use zbrush to use the features in zbrush but,the big wall of creativity is behind this creation.:+1:
may god be with you with all the success:+1:

This amazing piece of art needs more shows and a making off :p. Nice work Aaron, abomination and hulk looks amazing in the cinema.

WTF , wow, Im totally out of this sculpts … cool work MAN

Really incredible work Aaron!! Top notch! Thanks for posting these!

Thanks you all for all the positive feedback. This means a lot to me.
I love what I do; designing cool creatures for movies, and it’s so encouraging to hear that so many talented people enjoy seeing my work.
This makes it all that much more worth doing.

Thanks again

i loved the new Hulk design, not to neglect the first Hulk in the first movie but your’s has made the point of achieving the look to the comic Hulk.

I 'v been reading Hulk comics for years, it was exciting seeng him come alive again!

Wow, you just made me that much more hyped about seeing this movie.

really great designs, i like all variations

awesome model :+1: :+1: :+1:

Awesome work,as usual…
Perfect concept and incedible realisation

Amasing Job Aaron !!!

Ok this one is definitely from the movie. I think Gnomon should do BTS of this kind of stuff as well, directly from the movie industry.

AVT

great movie, great work on the hulk aaron.

i had the feeling of completion like wioth transformers and recently with iron man. finally we see enough cg in films.

i really liked the deformations on the hulk and although i didn’t like the abomination when i saw it in the trailer, i liked him in the film

On this site it is always a pleasure to see all this fantastic work.
I think nowhere else you can see so sofisticated CG Art as here.
Your caracters are very well done.
Thak you for sharing

COngratulations on some really fine work! I was the head make-up artist on the second pilot for the Hulk TV series (The first had Ted -Lurch_ Cassidy as The Hulk). It does m’old heart good to see how far the big green guy has come. Well done!

Love your work man. I know that a deviation from the comic for the abomination was probably highly requested by the studio but I wish the second version of the abomination would have made it in. I think he looks more raw. I understand some of the decisions for the final but lately I feel that bad guys look too “clean” in film any more.

Nice work! :sunglasses:

Incredible work. No pun intended.
