Also, the goggles are pretty tight so they push the skin of his eyebrows up, which I don’t see on your model.

Hi again, I took some time to get closer and closer to the actor’s face, now I’m quite satisfied from the results.
In the past days I also did the complete unwrap of all the meshes so now it’s time to get started with the textures finally!
@markkens: thanks, I played a bit more with the glasses in the past days, now they should be ok!
@EricShawn: Thank you, the clasps were modeled in 3ds Max with simple polymodeling.

Hey there! I tried commenting a while back but there were some troubles with the site so I gave up :slight_smile: I think it’s a definite improvement, but just can’t help but feel you were focused on the likeness that the anatomy of the head suffered. I got the same problem when doing likenesess,as opposed as doing made up people/creatures, but figured out to focus on the anatomy first and the likenes secondly. Cause you don’t have trouble with forms (the reproductor is stunning), but perhaps don’t have experience to tackle likenesses. Hope this helps :slight_smile: :+1:

Just a quick update on the texturing: I rough out the face/body and almost finished some of the clothes. Still lot of work left but here is how is he look like so far.

Hey nice modeling. I think the lighting can be improved a bit. Presently the shader is making him look like a light filled balloon. The shadows are very light, so the volume of the muscles and the general form is less apparent. Maybe some dramatic lighting could help. Jusy my two cents. Also you might want to make his crotch…err… a little more pronounced. it is a little flat presently.

@moonlitmaverick: thanks for the advice, I ended up tweaking a lot both shading and lighting, hope now to have fixed the issue! About his crotch… dunno really… :slight_smile: I mean, yes maybe could be a little more pronounced but for now I will leave it like it is and I will come back later on the final rounds.

@AndreHolzmeister: yeah man, you’re right! The hands still need a lot of work, my idea is to first get the overall body texture right and then come back and work on hands and ears so stay tuned for the next update :wink:

So here’s another update: the body and face texture is almost there, still need to fix hands and ears and then some final touch ups to get more life in it. Besides that I basically finished all the clothing textures, now are left just the knives and googles!

I’d drop the red about 8% in the skin shader…see what that does. And Furians don’t have bevelled crotches :smiley:

I wanted to focus on the character since this is a digital double with a very neutral background.
