Superman!!!!

Thanks for all the comments!!! Dakkon you nailed it, for the face and pose I looked heavily at Alex Ross’s superman. I plan to start texturing him as soon as possible.
Industripop thanks for the prediction, for hands I just took alot of reference of my own hands.
Enigma I actually refered heavily from the earlier superman, but the belt buckle I wanted to add because it is in the newest superman outfit for the upcoming movie. Mix a little past and present.
Monstermaker, thx!
Slocik, haha I always have a little more work. Maybe when Im 60 I will finish something completely.
xxxeb, Thx!

Slocik: I think it may be the perspective, but I am going back to look at it.

Madmac and metric: Thanks!

I am rendering a turnaround right now which I will put on my webpage at www.chrisgrim.com but it might be a day or 2 before it is up.
Thanks!!

awesome supes! yeah his face, body and pose looks very alex ross ish…wicked…

Incredible! Did you create the mesh in Zbrush or did you block it out in a 3D-program? Looks very good! I love the little details like the wrinkle’s and folds and ofcourse the muscle area’s

Did you create it by just using some reference-photo’s or stuff? I would really like to know a bit of method since i’m learning

Good work!

Great work

that’s really cool mate! very nice model, and i love the arms! looks better with this changes. keep posting!

eddski: thanks
kreatorx: I created the mesh in maya. For reference I mainly went out of my head and random photos. I didnt have a picture of anyone posed like that. I am a Zbrush tutor at my school and I am creating some tutorials. Last night I started working on a hand for a tutorial.

When I finish it I will put the tutorial up.
