I really don’t like how CGSociety censors stuff, especially a piece like this that’s done in an appropriate way. CGSociety also censors certain topics about the industry which also bugs me considering how big they are.

I’ve been featured in one of their books and been highlighted on top row so I appreciate their site and what they’ve done for me personally, but the censoring bothers me quite a bit. Especially topics and images that are very relevant to art. Should we pretend that suicide doesn’t exist? It’s done so tastefully in this picture as well. It’s not promoting it, it’s not shock value, it’s just portraying a moment that’s very real.

But again, great job on such a sensitive topic.

Yoonsung, you are an artist and if you want to grow and become an even better artist, you have to be open for critics one one hand and especially if you work in commission or in a company you have to follow advice and directions, but also on the other hand, if you work for yourself, you have to follow your own vision and stand up for it to be convincing.
too many cooks spoil the soup.

wish I saw more anquish or anticipation in the brows. Even if suicide is the release, anticipation would fall on the brows, and would really push this piece.
