I am trying hard to understand the making of the clothes. I get as far as making the templet to make the clothes and then I get lost, I realize you have to create them on a new layer, but I don’t understand what you mean when you say “must be black” and also on the third step, what do you mean by “transparent”. Sure could use some help with the step by step process, very new here, but very interested in learning for the people who have mastered all this. Thanks.

great hair tutorial gary. I used it to put hair on my newest face, I never actually tried making humans before, lol.

Hi Gary,

Beautiful work! I hope you had a live model to work from here

I hope you could spare some time to describe how you made the clothing? I’d reaaaaallly benefit from it!

Thanks,

Waytoofunky

Please forgive me for my noobness. How can I create clothing or any upraised ‘seperate’ surface like the kind the clothing is made of? is it possible to “paint” the clothing on a model so that it is a seperate 3d object? Wow if some one could give me a description of how to do this then my battle would be almost over. Thanks again.

Hi great tut! Does anyone know how to make clothing like this that is an independent geometry? Great tut.
