Impresive work . A specially the last one which looks like an old map of the Morrowind
beautiful images, i love the first one and the spheres set
Great images! I love the second one, reminds me of flying above the clouds around mountains.

Very nice work, the renders look great
The first and second pieces are realy striking and you would expect
David Attenbourough to start talking any minute…
David
Nice abstract man,
the first 2 are my fav.
Keep it up
I dont think theres one that you’ve done that I don’t like. Some superbe effects you’ve done there! I honestly can’t pick a favorite.
Wayne…
Those first 2 are luscious! Gorgeous stuff…Post them materials…I wanna play!

These are wonderful Blaine. Its nice being able to experiment and come out with such great results!
Thank you! I’m mostly humbled when I look at some of the talent on this board.
Mestela - Thanks for the link. Cool stuff!
…the live is real enough, be abstract
cool thread, alaska-dude:D
First off - Dickie, sorry about missing the materials request. To be honest I’m terrible about saving these things. I’ll have to start posting with the work while I can still remember where they are :o Dementia is a terrible thing until it gets bad enough you cant remember you have it.
I’d forgot about this thread and this new one seems to belong here.
I had a hard time reducing this one to a file size that works. Lots of detail was lost. I’m working on a web site. Having never created one I’m having a hard time absorbing how to use the ftp and setting it up properly.
Hello, all. Hope I’m not butting in unwanted.
Here are some renderings I’ve got using jantim’s textures or ones derived from them:
schnoz pot
Hope ya lik’em.

PS - Blaine, that’s gorgeous! --f.
I especially like the second image: almost looks like storm clouds coming. If there were a way of controling the shapes (?), I think you’d have an impressive approximation. But all the images are great!
Fordston -
Jantims mats are great. I learned to make mat’s by reverse engineering his stuff.
I really like the POV of the head Anyones posts are always welcome on my threads.

That one is as much due to lighting as the material. I think it would work on any shape that is soft and rounded. I’ll have to go back through my files and find this stuff and see if I can reproduce the effect.
