Hi !
This is a female version of The Darkness I’m doing for GA Comicon Challenge.
I’m trying to sculpt her body before doing some mesh extraction to sulpt her outfit. Hope you like it.
C&C more than welcomed
It’s a shame to cover that body with a costume. I think it’s one of your better sculpts at this point. Clean and curvy. Maybe make the back of the neck curve in a tiny bit more, and not so rigid, and push the head and neck a little more forward. The shoulders look too far back also. I would move them a little more forward, too.
same as above
@ Derek Frenzo and Sparky3d : Thanx for your kind words.
Fixed theese minor issues and worked on her back and arms anatomy.
Started to work on her mask and outfit too.
Hope you like it.
C&C welcome.
Update : Started to work on her “gloves”.
Hope you like it .
C&C welcome.
Hey Skullmonkey, I agree this is one of your better sculpts good job! The silhouette is much stronger in this sculpt then some of your previous. One thing that bugs me a bit and you dont have to change it cause it may be the stylization of your character. But her deltoids / shoulder muscles are very short. and so are her scapulas in the back. Her breasts as well aare a little bit high up on the rib cage. If you find a nice reference of the side view of a girl, Look at the distance from the top of the boobs / armpit to clavicle. There is a lot more space there then you might think. I am just pointing that out its your work though if you dont change it I think its important to atleast note it for future sculpts. good luck
Awesome dude!, this sculpt is looking great… Im a big fan of the darkness, so im keen to see what u do to this… nice detailing so far… I’ll be watching this one
@ Shawry : Thanx !
@ cleankid : You’re right, I reworked her proportions a bit according to your comment.
Here’s an update:
Started to work on her hands an detaling her outfit.
Hope you like it !
C&C welcome.
Little update:
C&C welcome.
Looks sweet, thus far.
One anatomy area that first glares at me is on the the back in your first 3/4 view. Feels like there should be more volume between the lower ribs and latissimus dorsi(lowerback muscle) to the scapula(shoulder blade). Basically just bring out the back of hear torso, from the lower rib cage upwards to.
Keep up the good work.
The last update is very nice!
Hi guys !
I just wanted to share my latests WIPs with you to get some crits and feedbacks, and maybe some hints to improve my work and designs.
First one is a mutant basketball player I’ve created for the mutant league challenge on polycount. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to finish it in time, so it’s still WIP.
The second one is some kind of space soldier I’m working on to improve my hard surface sculpting. I’ve started it after watching Mike Jensen’s ZBrush Hard Surface Techniques DVD. Still WIP too.
Last one is a Witchblade inspired Slaanesh Daemonette. Again WIP.
Hope you like them.
Hardly in need of comments, criticism and feedback.
