Skin material and Light

Looks great…the eyes are especially well done.:+1:

That is such incredible work I have trouble trying to find the words to describe it. I can not.
I’ve obviously never seen old Abe in person, but I stare at it, and that looks like he is doing a sitting for me.
I’ve seen antropous’s work many times, but I’ve never seen it applied to someone real (dead but real) that I can identify. I’m astonished, and amazed. It’s incredible. :+1:

Outstanding work.
I’ve attached an image in which I’ve used Photoshop curves to bleed some of the red out of the midrange tones, and I’ve added some blue to the highlights.
This is just a cheap attempt to simulate translucency (slightly more red around the shadows) and the reflective qualities of skin (the specular reflections in skin shouldn’t have any tint, generally only metals have tinted reflections).
I think this shows off your work a bit more, shouldn’t be too hard to achieve the same kind of effect directly in ZBrush.gp2.jpg

AMAZING :grimacing: :+1:

Yes aminuts , I agree. That is why we all unique and different artist. Thank you very much PixelRod,wierdPal and Dremmer. Thank you Greg for spending your time to make it better . Actually the warmness of the color was bugging me for a while. There was an intension to make it warm and more red since I saw my posted image in different computer and they looked paler. So I tried to puch up the red, but it was too much. I think your version look great too, to me a bit too yellow and shiny. Now I cut down red a bit , so I think it look better .

Wow. Love it. One of the best portraits that I’ve seen done in ZBrush.

This is fantastic art. Incredible detail. Good work.:+1: :+1:

Rafael Hernandez, DigitalDreamer,Trurl,rohling,
Thank you all for leaving comments, All of your works are great .
Kolbrooky, congratulations your baby, and good luck with collage.
If you can do on the canvas, it is much easier in Zbrush. I am looking forward to seeing your Zbrush work in the future . Tiktok, I am in that field ,are you too?

This is really unbelievably good! It’s not merely accurate, it’s forensically accurate!:+1:

OUTSTANDING :+1:

Portart,

This just blows me away…an awesome image. I don’t know if this will work but I took your image into photoshop and corrected the skin tones. Is it possible to use the corrections I applied on the skin texture you made and then use that in your rendering? If so, let me know if you like the corrections here and I’ll pass on the settings I used.

Speaking as a photographer, skin tones are tricky…you don’t want too much red in skin tones.

Keep at it…the work is awesome.

Brad.

This is a bit disturbing, and trust me that’s a good thing LOL. Good job here!

Great work! Don’t let the critics get to you! Whatever they say, I’m sure they would all stand in line to do what you do. Hats off! Thanks for the skin!!! From a big fan over at Stan’s.:+1:
