Long time no posts from me. Have been busy. Finally I got permission to post this Character. I modeled just the guy, the rest is a photograph. His name is Haque and he is really a nice guy. I had fun with this and I hope you like him too

Nice CAT5 dreads.
He’s for sure a member of MENSA 
First thing that hit me was that he’s kinda looking through my monitor, not just into the “camera lense”, with that “Can I help you?” look in his face.
His facial expression is priceless.
LOL. This immediately reminded me of Devon Townsend’s infamous skullet haircut.

Little update…
I’ve made this sunglasses in the “Mastering ZBrush Class” with Paul Gabory (from Pixologic) over at Ryan Kingsline’s Visualarium. Great, great people over there and awesome class. Just to keep you updated

I really like the humanoid with the dreads… is it some kind of caricature of someone you know? I just have to ask… how did you make the dreads look so real?

I sculpted one strand (see attachment), I gave it an coconut husk material and cloned it around the head. The final touch is Photoshop
