Silvaticus` sculpts thread

Your right about the 3d printer. Been playing with getting stuff printed myself. Need to follow up on those projects and get some metal castings made off them.

I enjoy all your pieces. You have a distinctive stylization even with your ‘real’ stuff. Feels like art to me.

nice attention to the cloth in the Dead dude.

Cool design - is this a zombie in early stages of decay?

I have an enthuastic reply for you. This is some great work. I like the characters so much I made a wallrender using your Aztec warrior. I do Logons/wallpapers etc… for desktop customizations and have a work I would like you to see. Don’t know how to PM you yet here as I a new to site. Would like you to see it!

I was away for a while and I didn`t check the replies. Thanks for all of them!

Stramp, you can post it here, if you want or contact me through email: rsalbatecu @ yahoo.com

I started modeling a Wolfen last night. I plan to make some Paul Bonner/Rackham Confrontation stuff since ages and finally I have some time (which isn`t necessarily a good thing).
Started from a cube for the head and ZSpheres, the old ones, for the body.
Any comments and suggestions are welcome!

Very Nice!!! Paul Bonner is one of my favorites!!!

Ascenscion_1920_500k.jpg Here’s the Ascension wallrender using your Aztec warrior from your Ancient Times submission @ CG Gallery that you said I could post here Romeo. This shows what a great model can do for a theme. Many thanks again for the use!

I like the way the heaven and the shinig effect are done.

Thank you Katerina! I needed to illuminate and give the theme an mystical astrological feel. I tried to stay away from the dark theme as this is about a revealing. I chose Silvaticus’s Aztec warrior after much research as His character model was excellant and best made the scene come alive! Lighting is a great tool for enhancing a theme and creating the feel for the enviroment and as I am learning makes different elements take on a feel of their own.

did you ever go further with it? it’s such an excellent character.

An older model revised a bit to be 3D printed. And the result.RamZ1.jpghorned 2 smaller.jpghorned 3 smaller.jpg

Great sculpt and nice sketchbook!:+1:
Great work on the zombey and the wear wolf creature aswell!
Looking forward seeing more from you, keep it going!
Best regards and happy sculpting,

  • Kenny:)

Thanks Kenny!

Heres an orc/troll/whatever in progress. Im trying to learn how to composite render passes in Photoshop.

Wonderful thread … I like this new addition very much! cheers, David

Im finally back to these forums after along absence. The place got really big with lots of great art so most of the times I just dont feel my work will be of any interest.
Anyway, I have lots of stuff to show done during the past years.
Some recent work on a miniatures game called the Third Law. I am attaching screenshots of my ZBrush models and pictures taken of the miniatures (painted by Dark Iron Studios, not me).

Given the huge interest (not one damn reply, hehe) I will post some more

Don’t panic.
This site is all messed up, as you noticed before thumbnails do weird stuff and sometimes it seems like no one sees your stuff.
It’s not you, it’s ZBC.
You make great things, and as someone else pointed out, its awesome to see your workflow.
Thanks, and please do keep posting, the webmasters ran out of beer and have been huffing fumes or something for a while now.

Thanks for the replyand the nice words!
Yeah, I know, ZBC is not what it used to be ten years ago. Back then you got replies to every little post, now I see top rows with 3-4 replies.
