Bloody awesome body of work Scott, very impressive indeed! How did you go about the Pieta? I’ve wanted to try a Michelangelo for ages but hardly know where to start. Did you use Z Spheres or import a mesh? How long did it take? etc etc…
PS: great to see this masterwork without the cracks from where that loony woman attacked it! It was one of the disappointmets of my life going into St.Peters to see what I’ve always considered the greatest work of art of all time (along with David) only to find it behind bulletproof glass and twenty feet away. I’d been looking forward to seeing the Pieta up close since I was 12 to touch the marble and see the veins and the areas of the Madonna’s robe where the stone was cut so thin as to be translucent.
