Thanks man. Its actually rendered in mental ray and the skin shader is the tweaked version of the standart mental ray skin shader. You can find out more about it here…

I have to ask the method you used for the hair and for such realistic render. I m also woking on a character and i want to give him realistic luking hair, pls tell me urs or any other method u r familiar with. Thanks.

Since this hair are pretty short I just sculpt them with some tiny brush in Zbrush and then I have painted all in the texture. So I didnt use any hair generator or what so ever… So thats not more of a advice to you sorry
