A boot. Done today and yesterday. In Marmoset2, my first real project for it. I did nothing for the beta, which I felt horrible about, but I had other stuff going on. It’s this girls boots (or a test of them).

ysalex did you polypaint within zbrush for texturing your character and the boots or this all done in old school 2d Photoshop painting? Textures look amazing!
Thanks, the eyes are phototexture, the skin and everything else is polypaint in zbrush. For the boots, I used default alphas to paint in the major colors, then went over it with a bunch of colors (deep green, dark grey, blood red, and pencil yellow) with a really noisy alpha on ‘spray’ to get the sorta texture thing going. Then I used the ‘slash’ brush with a small amount of color and zsub to do the scratches. Last I used surface and noisemaker to add the flower/lace texture to the middle of the boot.
I really like the boot design.

Worked up a sorta simple hand design. Had a good time with the hard surface but I need more articulation in the fingers.
Getting really good, the hand is awesome.

Here is an eyeshader if anyone wants it, plus the explanation how to set it up/change it.
It should be pretty accurate to correct proportions. The shader and maps are easy to control, and I think it gives a pretty physically accurate result.
I used vray, but you should be able to transfer the maps to whatever program/renderer you want.
