leather outfit (boots included) would be yummy.
Looking good! Can’t wait to see the rendered images!!!
bicc39:The outfit is leather, but no boots ( YET ) the dress sleeves will be silk.
nickz: Thanks buddy. Hope to get some renders done this week… end
Plus whip!
great works here ! really like the fighter girl in your first post
awesome render
the last character also really cool !
one question :
can you explain your technique of making those decoration on the jacket ?
is it by masking and using alphas or you just sculpt them on the jacket ?
thanks
very cool
smeagol: I basically painted in a mask then extruded it, then sculpted in the smaller details to try and give it that carved leather look. Took a long time to do:). I will put together a “How to” when I finish the rendering and post it for those who are interested.
wow! very inspiring , great work with the dress! keep it up
I love this character.
hey man, great work around here…
i have a question about your workflow you have posted some time ago…
can you please explain how you manage to add all the subtools proberly aligned to the posed mesh…it would be great if you could make a timelaps of this process …a smal example, so i can follow… this would be wonderful…thanks…
O/MI: I’ll put something to gether for you to show you how I did it. I did the same thing for the Maleficent character. I’ll try and have something up here for you by the end of the week if that’s cool.
thanks man …really thank you very much …you´re the man…
Quality art, and well laid out explanations, well done.
please dont forget me… :o …the only thing i dont understand is how i manage to add the subtools to the layer, so it fits the layer with the pose…
O/MI: I promise I wont forget about you. Just had a really busy work week, didn’t even get to work on it at all last week or even turn my PC on at home.
Sorry that I didn’t get it up when I was hoping to but this week for sure;)
Hey mate you’ve some great work here. Just want to thank you too for your generosity. You’re mental ray setup has given me loads of info on how to set up my renders in the future.
dats real good. the lower eyelids look too thick
O/MI: Here you go. It’s not a turntable but hope it helps you out. If anything is unclear just let me know and I will do my best to help you out. Sorry for taking so long to get this out.
I plan to do a more in-depth “how to” once I complete my Maleficent project.
Enjoy.
