arthurduque: Thanks bud, glad you like it

So after a long vacation and a lot of other stuff to do, the anatomy machine is finally back in business!
With fresh eyes I have now started working on the scapula and the clavicle, and I have also changed some overall proportions of the body.

Both the scapula and the clavicle was made using Zspheres, and thanks to GoZ I was able to correct some bad topology on the scapula quickly in C4D, but it’s still kind of messed up…

Please, let me know what you think
More bones coming soon!

Love the skeleton, been meaning to make one myself. There is a fantastic gnomon dvd about anatomy out there by zack petrok, u might be interested in. As for the question how did u get your post to go to the latest one when i clicked your thread? Mine always goes to page one, not the most current.

Skeleton’s comin’ along fine :+1: ! Do you have real life ref of the clavicle and scapula or do you work from images?

I’m currently working on the same thing, I think you’re doing a great job :+1: ! Looks like you got the hands and the the feet coming up, urgh :frowning: so complex right? The ribs and spine are the most complex in my opinion and you nailed it. Good job man!

Hey Santis! Its great to see that youre still working on this piece.
Its a lot of work but itll pay off in the end. :):+1:
The nightmare horse is nice, too.
Are you planning to proceed with this project?

hej santis.glad u liked the skull. so your also doing a skeleton, are you going to put muscles on top of that? What references are u using?anyways good start!:+1: (might wanna check the ribcage again:)).svensk?varifrån?

really really impressed m8. do u know anywhere i can find a tutorial on how to make a skull like yours? overall 10/10 so far. well done m8y

Wow great work, alot of effort there:+1:

Hi Santis! Yeah, Zspheres are great for making bones.
A while ago Ive also created base meshes for bones with Zspheres. Its fun.
Once again, many compliments on your modeling!
I cant wait to see the hands and feet (ehm.. are you going to model them, btw?). I guess thatll be a good deal of work.

joaquin: Thanks a lot!
No, I wont do the muscles, atleast not for now, I don’t have the time
I look in my anatomical books, thats it  And thanks for the tip I’ll go back and do some more tweaking to the ribs later on.
Jepp, Stockholm, själv då?

3xtigy: Thank you, glad you like it.
This video shows you how to create a skull out of a sphere: http://www.vfxcast.com/media/10852/ZBrush_Advanced_Sculpting_a_Pre-Fab_Head_-_01/
I’m not sure if we use the same approach, but I guess the end result is more about your anatomical knowledge and artistic style

Dman3d: Thanks you, glad you noticed

Moni-Poroni: Yeap, it’s great, fast and simple
Haha, yeah, I’m not looking forward to it, but I’ll do my best :stuck_out_tongue:
Thanks again for your feedback!

Here is a little head sculpt I made from a sphere just to do something a bit different, bones are fun but a bit dull in the long run

manzarek123: Thank you, Im glad you are staying interested, it will be over soon

Haven’t had much time for the skeleton lately, but heres a small update, I added the Radius and Ulna using the same workflow as I have for the rest of the bones.

skelthumb.jpg

So now there is only two updates left, the hands and the feet, before this model will be up for sale
As usual Im interested in what you guys think
