About the image, loved the movie and loved your effort. It came out picture perfect. Congrats on the great work.

wow your model is great. It looks just like him…well actually your model makes him look better. I have been a fan of Ron Perlman for a long time. He is not very good looking but he is a wonderful acter. The model looks really life like with the hair. Wow again.

Funny, I just commented on Olavo’s Hellboy illustration (which is right next to yours on the top row). Great, great work! I looked at it and instantly though, that looks like Ron Perlman, then read your post which confirmed it. So great work! Always comforting that when doing a portrait people can recognize who it is, especially when it’s somebody not overly famous. Beautiful work.

Man you have almost captured this perfectly. You nailed it on the head with the sculpture. This character could be in the new Beowulf movie with the detail you are showing 
The hair needs to look more scruffy and unkept in the beard and head area after seeing those reference photos. Right now he looks like he took a number 1 trimer and went all around his head.
